psychoeducational services
I am experienced in working with individuals across the life cycle, specializing between ages 7 to 18 years old, who are confronting mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, suicidality, Autism, ADHD, behavioural difficulties, emotional dysregulation, attachment issues, parental coaching, and psychoeducational assessments.
I aim to provide individuals and families with psychological support, guidance, interventions and recommendations that will offer individuals and families an opportunity to succeed and a renewed perspective.
PARENT COACHING
Coaching is typically a short-term intervention that provides caregivers with here-and-now tools with the goal of bringing about improvement in the child's behaviour.
The goal centers on improving the interaction between caregiver and child. Further, parent-coaching aims to re-establish appropriate parent-child dynamics, and decrease undesirable behaviours in the child.
